February 6 Weekly email

February 6, 2015

 Dear Parents,

Elboya School’s Open House last evening was well attended and staff met with many students and parents who are interested in attending Elboya School next year.  William Reid Grade 4 students toured Elboya School in the morning with the help of Grade 5 ambassadors. We appreciated the students who helped out by participating in presentations, giving tours, or in any way.

Environmental and Outdoor Education students in grades 7-9 had a wonderful day skiing at Nakiska this week.

Drama News – S. Park

I am very excited to announce the names of the two one-acts for the Spring Drama Production! The first is "How to Succeed in High School Without Really Trying" by Jonathan Rand and the second is "This Is A Test" by Stephen Gregg. Both shows are comedies and take place in a school. They and are very well-written and offer the opportunity for many students to create fun and engaging characters. Auditions will take place Monday, Feb. 9th until Wednesday Feb 11th and are open to grade 7 to 9 students. Auditions will be at lunchtime and after school. Please sign up outside the Drama room.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Park!
