Western Canada High School Registration – D. Siakaluk
On Monday, March 2 a counselor from Western Canada will be coming to assist Grade 9 students with registration for High School. Nothing needs to be done in advance and all information will be provided to the students that day. If your child is not going to Western they will have the opportunity to work on other tasks during the presentation. Any questions can be directed to Mr. Derek Siakaluk, Assistant Principal.

Jump Rope for Heart - M. Lewis
On behalf of the Heart and Stroke foundation, as well as Mme Lewis’ homeroom class, I would like to thank everyone who participated in our Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser.
The students worked hard to collect money from friends, family members and the community, while they raised awareness of the importance of keeping a healthy heart lifestyle. The students will be participating in a Jump Rope for Heart morning on Thursday, March 5 where they will represent their sponsors and participate in Jump Rope activities. These activities will be done during their PE classes. Elboya’s grand funding raising total will also be revealed on this day.
Please see future weekly newsletters for details on fundraising amounts and again a big THANK YOU to everyone that was involved in our effort to reach our goal!

Drama News
The Drama Show has now been cast! The show will be two One-Acts, called " How To Succeed In High School Without Really Trying" by Jonathan Rand and "This Is A Test" by Stephen Gregg. There are so many talented Drama students it was difficult to decide who to cast. A VERY BIG thank-you, to all who auditioned. Congratulations to all twenty-three students who are in the play. Rehearsals start next week.
